How to Host a Cozy, Crowd-Pleasing Game Day
warm spinach & artichoke dip
Servings: 8 | Prep Time: 5 min | Cook Time: 20 min
Ingredients:
1 (10 oz) package frozen spinach, thawed and well-drained
1 (14 oz) can artichoke hearts, drained and chopped
8 oz cream cheese, softened
½ cup sour cream
½ cup mayonnaise
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
Salt & pepper to taste
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 375°F.
In a mixing bowl, combine all ingredients until evenly blended.
Spread mixture into an oven-safe baking dish.
Bake 20 minutes, or until hot and bubbly
Serve warm with tortilla chips, crackers, or sliced baguette.
Apple Cider Fall Sangria
Serves: 6–8 | Prep Time: 10 minutes | Chill Time: 2–4 hours
Ingredients:
1 bottle (750 ml) dry white wine (Sauvignon Blanc or Pinot Grigio work well)
2 cups fresh apple cider (unfiltered for best flavor)
½ cup brandy (or spiced rum for extra warmth)
¼ cup maple syrup or honey (adjust to taste)
2 apples, thinly sliced
1 orange, thinly sliced
1 pear, thinly sliced
2 cinnamon sticks
4–5 whole cloves (optional)
1 cup club soda or sparkling water (added before serving)
Instructions:
In a large pitcher, combine wine, apple cider, brandy, and maple syrup/honey. Stir well.
Add sliced apples, orange, pear, cinnamon sticks, and cloves.
Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours (or up to 24 hours) to allow flavors to blend.
Just before serving, stir in club soda for a light fizz.
Serve over ice with some of the fruit in each glass.
Tip: For a Game Day batch, double the recipe and serve in a drink dispenser so guests can help themselves.
